Lorraine Ozburn

	Lorraine Ozburn, age 88, of Pinckneyville, died Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at 7:50 p.m. in the Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
	She was born August 17, 1915 in Du Quoin, a daughter of Bryan and Irene (Marlow) Eaton.  She was united in marriage to Howard W. Ozburn on November 1, 1939 in Perryville, Mo. and he preceded her in death on July 12, 1978.  Lorraine was a homemaker and an active member of the First Baptist Church of Pinckneyville.  She enjoyed quilting, reading and watching sports.
	Survivors include two sons, Bill and wife Mary Lou of Pinckneyville  and Donald and wife Sandy of Winnebago; three grandsons, Todd Engels, David Ozburn and wife Melanie and Michael Ozburn and wife Mary Hadley; two granddaughters, Lynn Huffhine and husband William and Susan Campbell and husband Wade; six great-grandchildren, Kirstin and Brita Engels, Jessica, Zachariah and Nathanael Ozburn and Henry Campbell; two sisters, Virginia McCrary  and Geneva Helvey and husband Harold, all of Pinckneyville, and several nieces and nephews.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Howard and a great-grandson in infancy.
	Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 30 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Pinckneyville with Rev. Mark Lee officiating.  Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Du Quoin.
	Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville on Friday, August 29 from 6 until 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 until 9 a.m., then at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.
	In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
